Providing information about the political, social, economic and environmental issues that directly relate to the development of Edisto Island.

The Edisto island Community Association is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are fully volunteer run. Beyond our mission of providing high-quality information to community members, we also operate the Gordon Locatis Scholarship fund.

The Board meets on the second Monday of every month at 7 pm at the New First Missionary Baptist Church (1644 Highway 174, Edisto Island, SC 29438). Anyone is welcome to attend. We also periodically host community-wide information meetings and discussions, as well as an annual Oyster Roast each winter.
